1. Agreement to Terms
By booking a service with Maple Leaf Appliance Repair ("we", "us", or "our") or using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services
We provide residential appliance repair services in Calgary and surrounding areas. Services are subject to availability and technician scheduling. We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion.
3. Pricing and Payment
All pricing is provided as an upfront quote before work begins. By authorizing a repair, you agree to pay the quoted amount upon completion. We accept cash, credit card, and debit. Payment is due at the time of service.
A service call fee may apply for diagnostic visits where no repair is performed. This fee will be disclosed before your appointment.
4. Warranty
All completed repairs are covered by a 90-day parts and labour warranty. If the same fault recurs within 90 days of the original repair, we will return and repair it at no additional charge.
The warranty does not cover new or unrelated faults, damage caused by misuse or power surges, or appliances serviced by another technician after our repair.
5. No-Fix, No-Fee Guarantee
If we are unable to repair your appliance, you will not be charged for labour. Parts that have been installed and cannot be returned may still be charged at cost. We will advise you of this before proceeding.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We ask for at least 2 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee. We will always do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific repair in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of food or other contents of a repaired appliance.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
